           1. Millennial Reign?

I have felt very much impressed to give some Bible teaching on this subject, since there seems to be almost as many different beliefs as there are believers, resulting from each one putting his own interpretation upon God's Word, and especially by taking spiritual things as literal.

A  or The, means only ONE kingdom of God or Heaven. Where the word appears in the plural, “kingdoms” it always has reference to political or literal, and never to His SPIRITUAL.

Gods spiritual kingdom, which includes all saved people. His church church was fully set on the day of Pentecost. In A.D. 32 (Matt.16:18 Jesus said “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. ” And in A.D. 33 (Acts 2:47) “ Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the CHURCH daily such as should be saved.” It is still at hand and is being manifested through the lives of His saints, those who have not DIED (spiritually by committing sin) who HERE and NOW enjoy the fullness of His blessings, which foretold many years before Christ came to be fulfilled in a future age, THE GOSPEL DAY. In (St John 18:36) Jesus' own words say, “My kingdom is not of this world: if MY KINGDOM were of this world,
Then would my servents fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my KINGDOM not from hence".
Not of this world, not literal, but SPIRITUAL.

The Scriptures in many places are written in symbols, and when so, should be spiritually applied, and not always literally. In (Luke 13:32) Jesus said: “Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. “

He did not refer to a four footed beast, but to the fox or cunning nature in Herod. Jesus said to peter (Matt. 16:32) “Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” Here He referred to satonic influence which prompted Peter to speak as he did

2  (Ex..  3:8) . “A land that flows with milk and honey”, sounds literally waist deep, would not be a comfortable place to reside; but applying it spiritually, to the good things to be found by the children of Israel when they reached Canaan after fleeing from Egypt, would harmonize with the rest of God's word. A Christian nation or people who really do possess the very elements of HIS KINGDOM, righteousness, peace and JOY, are in a PLEASANT place or condition of THIS LIFE, the Holy Spirit being their teacher.

John the Baptist said And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”.(Matt. 3:2) or (Mark 1:15) Jesus said: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. “ The law and the prophets were until John; (Luk_16:16) The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. since THAT TIME- THE KINGDOM OF GOD... and men presseth (present time) into IT (singular). If we believe Jesus and His book of this, the Gospel Day, we will have to ignore all teaching of another kingdom in some future age; since there is NO TIME, NO PLACE and NO NEED of any other. No TIME: (Heb. 9:27), And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this (DEATH THEN) the judgment: No 1,000 years. Time will not be reckoned after death: (2 Peter 3:8), But beloved, Do not be ignorant of this one thing, one day is as a 1,000 years and 1,000 years as ONE DAY with God. The 1,000 years of (Rev. 20:1-7) And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their
hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

The 1,000 years of (Rev. 20:1-7) means a long period of time; that being the largest numeral used in the Bible. The Angel was Christ and the CHAIN, His GOSPEL. It did and still binds Satan's power when “RIGHTLY divided”
This is not a description of literal things in some geographical location; a spiritual CONDITION in ANY HEART of REAL Christians, any TIME and place on earth.
The FIRST resurrection (Verse 6) is when we are raised from a dead state of sin to a Holy life, which lives on after our physical death.

No PLACE for a millennial reign. (2 Pet. 3:10) the world is to be burned UP; NOT OVER> many scriptural proofs could be given.

NO NEED. (John 19:30), It is FINISHED. The plan of salvation. (1 Thess.4:15-18) is speaking about the saved people ONLY. Time shall be NO LONGER. The dead in Christ shall rise first (Before the living Christians ascend) then----RIGHT THEN --- we which are alive and remain shall be caught UP together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the AIR and so (UP in the CLOUDS and in the AIR: not on earth) shall we ever (fore ever) be with the Lord. This is in harmony with all the New Testament, and to ignore these precious truths would make God untrue, and throw one in a state of confusion. (Rev. 20:10) tells of the destiny of FALSE prophets. (Rev. 21: 1-11) speaks of the peaceable condition of God's people, which is His church. It only mentions the literal in order to bring out the spiritual conditions. LION nature made like a LAMB.

Who would exchange 1,000 years in heaven for that time on earth?
In (Matt. 24:14) "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall theend come"(THEN the END of TIME). Run references on Last, last time, last day etc., and on END, end of time, end of the world, and you can see that when Jesus returns, it will be the CLOSING up of ALL things Literal.

“While FALSE prophets are confiding in a foolish erring dream of Millennial enjoyment, they neglect the cleansing stream. O poor sinner, don't believe them, there will be no age to come; if in this life you find not Jesus, death will seal your awful doom.”
“The Lord give the understanding” ---Erle E. Forbes.

This early church father: on a certain heretic:

his statement that there will be a period of some thousand years after the resurrection of the dead, and that the kingdom of Christ will be set up in material form on this very earth. I suppose he got these ideas through a misunderstanding of the apostolic accounts, not perceiving that the things said by them were spoken mystically in figures. For he appears to have been of very limited understanding, as one can see from his discourses. But it was due to him that so many of the Church Fathers after him adopted a like opinion, urging in their own support the antiquity of the man; as for instance Irenæus and any one else that may have proclaimed similar views.”  Eusebius,Bishop of Caesarea, 260-339 AD History of the Church

Which Church Is Right?  E. M. Zinn

In Matt. 16:18 Jesus said, "I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." "My church" indicates sole possession. The thought which naturally comes to mind is, what church did He mean, or which did He build? Was it a church comparable to the rest of the churches? Or is it a separate, distinct body in which all its members have salvation? The fact that Jesus said, "I will build my church," definitely shows that He was the builder and organizer. One popular opinion is that the Church of God is a church among the rest‹on par with them and like them in formality and association. Jesus said in St. John 10:9, 10, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture." We go through the door (Christ), which is the only process by which we obtain salvation and membership in His church.      Read more at:

THE KINGDOM OF GOD: In the second chapter of Daniel we read of a king by the name of Nebuchadnezzar who had a dream that lie could not interpret. The dream went from him and he could not remember what it was about. He searched among the wise men of his country to find one to tell him the dream, and to interpret it for him, but could find none until Daniel was brought in before him. God had given Daniel the dream and the interpretation in a night vision. So he stood before the king and said, “ But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. ’ ’ Daniel further says, "Thou, 0 king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee and the form thereof was terrible. This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth” (Dan. 2: 31-35)

This was the dream that the king dreamed, and the head which was of fine gold represented his kingdom, the Babylonian kingdom, which ruled over the people with mighty power. The breast and arms which were of silver represented the kingdom of the Modes that rose up and ruled over the nations. Next came the thighs of brass which represented the Persian kingdom which came next in power, and then came the legs of iron and the feet of iron and miry clay, which symbolized the Roman kingdom that subdued the nations and ruled over them with iron-like strength to which the Hebrew nation, the chosen people of God, became subject. But we notice that the feet were mixed with miry clay (potter’s clay), denoting something pliable.

At the time when the Roman empire was in her strength and power, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, appeared on the scene, was a pliable vessel in the hands of His Father, and He found others .of-the Hebrew nation that followed Him as He spake to them. Thus we see they were as potter's clay that Hod could use in forming His Kingdom. The rulers and the nations were against Christ and His followers. They persecuted Christ, and when they came to take Him to crucify Him, He said, “ My kingdom is not of this world.’ ' His kingdom was from heaven: while it is in this world, yet it is not of the world. It comes into men living in the world, and then they are no longer of the world, for they are made new creatures in Christ Jesus, and become a part of His kingdom which was the stone cut out without hands that smote the image and brake him to pieces. This kingdom was set up in the earth by Christ, the Son of God, and came in mighty power on the Day of Pentecost, arid this Stone that smote the image is still rolling through the earth, picking up all pliable material and hurling back to earth all that stiffen themselves against the will and pleasure of God.

Jesus said to His questioners that “ the kingdom of God cometh not with observation, but, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. " The kingdom of God is composed of the family of God, the born-again ones. They are not of the world, but their citizenship is in heaven from whence they look for their Savior who will come again, and then wre who are alive will arise and meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. And Peter tells us that after this earth and the* works therein are burned up we shall look for new; heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. Praise God, we who are redeemed, art* born again, are translated into the kingdom of His dear Son (Col. 1: 13) will inherit the new  heavens and the new earth where all the other righteous are. Bless His name. — F red Pruitt.  (From Faith and Victory, Nov. 1924)
